ABOUT

The Kir Royale is a staple cocktail in many bars & hotels across the world. The cocktails simple ingredients list consists of only two things -  Prosecco & Creme de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) which are typically poured into the glass slowly but simultaneously to thoroughly mix the two ingredients without making the Prosecco flat.

 

This version of the cocktail follows the standard recipe but adds more glitz & glamour to your glass with the addition of edible cocktail glitter from Popaball.

INGREDIENTS

  • Creme de Cassis- 25% - 25ml

  • Tiamo Prosecco - 11% - 100ml

  • Popaball edible glitter

METHOD

Recommended Glassware: Champagne Flute

 

Firstly get your champagne flute ready in front of you, measure out 25ml of the creme de cassis in a spare jug along with the contents of 1 x edible glitter sachet & stir to mix thoroughly. Once the gitter is incorporated into the liqueur take the chilled prosecco out of the fridge (please pre-chill). With the champagne flute in front of you, with one hand pour in the glitter/liqueur mixture & with the other hand pour in 100ml of the chilled prosecco slowly but at the same time - this will make sure all the ingredients mix without making the prosecco flat - if needed give the cocktail a small/gentle stir & enjoy!
